We are thrilled to announce that Penny Williams is our August Employee of the Month! Penny started with us last year as an amazing volunteer and has officially been part of our team as a library clerk since January, but she has been a librarian for over 21 years! We are so happy to have her lend us her expertise. Penny has an amazing eye for detail and is constantly striving to improve our library. As a thank-you to our wonderful Penny, we encourage everyone to show their appreciation by stopping by the library and checking out three of her favorite books. Her favorites are: "A Gentleman in Moscow" by Amor Towles, "People of the Book" by Geraldine Brooks, and "The Lost Man" by Jane Harper. We would also like to thank the Friends of the Toccoa-Stephens County Public Library for giving us the funding and opportunity to award an employee every month! Thank you!
